 Slamp e il suo Art Director Nigel Coates hanno ricevuto il prestigioso incarico di allestire la VIP Press Room del Victoria & Albert Museum in occasione del London Design Festival 2011, la consueta kermesse che si è tenuta dal 16 al 25 settembre a Londra. Il V&A è il fulcro del Festival e la Vip Press Room è il ritrovo per i giornalisti che fanno interviste e filmati ai nomi più rappresentativi del design internazionale. La collezione Faretto di Slamp, nella tipologia singola, doppia e da tavolo, è stata protagonista dell’allestimento, caricando l’ambiente di innovazione e originalità.          V&A VIP Press Room This year the London Design Festival organiser’s hub is located in the South Kensington hub at the V&A Museum. Nigel Coates has been commissioned to transform an anteroom in the museum’s Sackler Centre into the LDF’s VIP press lounge. Showcasing his latest designs for the London-based manufacturer Hitch Mylius, the HM63 sofa system defines a meandering seating arrangement that is particularly conducive for conversation. With a lighting installation featuring the beautiful Faretto light for the Italian lighting company Slamp, the room was charged with atmosphere.
